Our highly skilled lawn care providers will come once a week and mow and trim your entire yard. They will blow off all grass clippings and ensure all gates are closed. Once a month they will power edge all city sidewalks and driveways. They will pay particular attention to the small things; such as a 90 degree edge on all beds and trimming down any grass or weeds growing up in the cracks of sidewalk, paving stones or patios. If you have an alley we will ensure that any grass areas are neatly trimmed.
WEED TRANSFER – in order to eliminate seeds being transferred from yard to yard our crews will spray the cutting deck of their mowers with a solution designed to kill the weed seeds.
BLADE SHARPENING – our blades are sharpened daily. This ensures that your grass is cut not torn. When grass is torn it has a brown damaged end to it. When it is cut with a sharp blade the edge is clean and much like a paper cut versus a cheese grater the healing time is dramatically reduced.
Mulching – one of the most important things you can do for the overall health of your lawn. Mulching enhances the health and growth of the turf by reducing evaporation of moisture from the lawn and keeping soil temperature cooler. In addition, it has been estimated that mulched clippings, which are 85 percent water and five percent nitrogen, can provide up to 25 percent of fertilizer needs for an average lawn. Effective mulching can only occur if you use the right equipment. The blades of the mowers must be mulching blades and the mower must be strong enough to cut not tear the grass. Our experience has taught us that only high end commercial grade mowers can mulch properly.
